United Flea Markets Acquires Ramona Flea Market in Jacksonville, Florida

February 21, 2018, Denver – United Flea Markets, owners of the largest portfolio of flea markets in the industry, announced today that it has acquired the Ramona Flea Market in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 1971, the Ramona Flea Market is North Florida’s largest flea market, encompassing 107 acres and offering goods, services and products from more than 700 vendors.

The acquisition adds a third Florida property to United Flea Markets’ rapidly-expanding portfolio. The company also owns and operates the Flamingo Island Flea Market in Bonita Springs and the T&W Flea Market in Pensacola, as well as three others around the country.

The Ramona Flea Market deal includes an additional 25,000 square feet of event space, ideally suited for weddings, corporate events, family reunions and other gatherings. The market will continue to operate its normal shoppers’ hours of Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
